Graphic Designer. Stationery / UI + UX / Branding

My approach to design stems from my educational and professional roots in architecture, designing both spatially, whether abstract or tangible, and also holistically, allowing the part to inform the whole. In 2010, after having worked as intern architect for 3+ years and upon enrolling in graduate school, I had my  â€œah-hah!” / life altering / career changing moment: Architecture, though my first and long-time love, was just not where I belonged anymore. I craved a more intimate relationship with design -- after all, God is in the details.

In 2011 I simultaneously began working for Echo Interaction Group as a UI + UX designer and co-founded and launched Plane Paper, a modern laser-cut stationery company. In 2013 I began working solely for Plane Paper as Creative Director and Lead Designer additionally managing our internal branding - from packaging to art directing product shoots to overseeing our website. In the Summer of 2014, I left Plane Paper for FROM Digital, currently working as an Art Director, designing award winning websites for clients including Avis Budget Group, CBS, A+E Networks, and Mattel.

I am always interested in free-lance opportunities -- loving to work on identity design, marketing collateral, custom wedding suites and social invitations!
